The much awaited supercar Nissan GT-R has finally been launched in India. Packed with the legacy of decades, heart throbbing power and eye catching beauty, the godzilla will cost you as much as Rs 1.99 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Nissan has already delivered the first set of the GT-R to its customers and the cars were being continuously spotted on Indian roads for last few weeks.
Popularly known as godzilla, Nissan’s flagship and only sports car GT-R is famous for its unique and muscular design unlike the normal sports cars.
What comes under the hood of the godzilla is a hand built 3.8-litre V6 twin-turbocharged engine that churns out massive 570PS of power and 637Nm of peak torque helping the car to sprint from 0-100kmph in just less than 3 seconds.
The 2017 GT-R was officially launched at an event in Mumbai where actor John Abraham introduced the supercar into the country. John also happens to be the first customer of the car in India.
Nissan’s GT-R now in Indian Market
The car has finally comes to Indian Market in 7 mind-blowing colours, with the highlight being the Katsura Orange. Among all the colours copper – orange colour suits the car just perfect. It also comes in Vibrant Red, Gun Metallic, Blue Racing, Ultimate Silver, Black Metallic and Pearl White.
Inside the cabin, to make the GT-R more simple and practical as a daily usable car, Nissan has reduced the number of switches from 27 to only 11. The center console hosts a big 8-inch touchscreen display to manage the infotainment system.
Plastic, fiber and leather material used for the dash and the seats are very high end and gives premium feel. And in case you didn’t know, it’s a four seater car. Nissan GT-R is one of the favourites in middle-east countries and run from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 3 seconds.
